Newsletter: Expand Telehealth Survey

Building on my continued bipartisan efforts to expand access to telehealth services in the wake of the COVID-19 pandemic, I recently joined Congresswoman Cindy Axne (D-IA) to introduce the KEEP Telehealth Options Act. This legislation would instruct the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) and Government Accountability Office (GAO) to study and report to United States Congress on the expansion of telehealth services during the COVID-19 outbreak, the uptake of those services by patients across the country, and GAO’s recommendations for enhancing the quality of and access to these services.

Our legislation will play a crucial role in laying the groundwork for enhancements to the quality of and access to telehealth services moving forward, especially for those living in rural areas.
