WASHINGTON D.C. – Congressman Troy Balderson (OH-12) released the following statement on the election of Mike Johnson as Speaker of the U.S. House of Representatives:
“Today, I proudly cast my vote in support of Mike Johnson to serve as the 56th Speaker of the U.S. House of Representatives. “Throughout his tenure in Congress, Speaker Johnson has shown that he is a principled conservative and dedicated public servant. “With a war raging in the Middle East, an ongoing crisis at our southern border, and a federal government in desperate need of accountability, Washington needs bold and decisive leadership. “Speaker Johnson has unified the Republican Conference around his vision to tackle these issues, and I look forward to working with him to get the job done.”
