WASHINGTON D.C. – On Thursday, Congressman Troy Balderson (R-OH) attended an event celebrating American energy in Columbiana County, Ohio with Speaker of the House Kevin McCarthy (R-CA). Balderson and McCarthy toured Encino Energy's Sanor Farms well pad facility, seeing firsthand how natural gas production is booming in Ohio. Congressmen Bill Johnson (R-OH), Dave Joyce (R-OH), and Max Miller (R-OH) were also in attendance.
The event showcased the critical role Ohio plays in the growing need for robust natural gas production as McCarthy and Balderson push for American energy independence.
This Congress, through the passage of H.R. 1 and the Fiscal Responsibility Act, House Republicans have prioritized American energy independence. By increasing domestic production and streamlining the lengthy, complex permitting process, the United States will no longer need to depend on foreign nations for energy, and more jobs will be created here at home. Balderson briefly addressed the crowd of natural gas workers in attendance. “Thank you to all of you that do this,” said Balderson. “We are proud of you, and we are forever grateful for what you do for this great country. Continue the good work here, and we will continue the good work in Washington.” To view Congressman Balderson’s full remarks, please click here.
