Columbus,
August 29, 2019
"Tourism thrives when communities work together," said Congressman Balderson, who is a member of the Congressional Travel and Tourism Caucus. "Central Ohio has become the crown jewel of tourism in the Midwest. From hiking, to motorcycling, to sports, and great food, we have a little bit of something here for everybody." Sponsored by the U.S. Travel Association, the Travel Works Roadshow seeks to showcase the positive impact of tourism on local communities. Tourism generates an estimated $45 billion in economic output for the state of Ohio each year, supporting more than 400,000 jobs. |
