Balderson Releases Statement on the Biden Administration’s Federal Vaccination Mandate
Washington, D.C.,
November 4, 2021
WASHINGTON, D.C.—Congressman Troy Balderson (OH-12) issued the following statement today in response to the Biden Administration’s COVID-19 vaccination and testing mandate issued by the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA):
"Forcing Americans to choose between putting food on their tables and complying with an arbitrary federal vaccine mandate is the wrong path forward. "The Biden Administration is requiring working-class Americans to get vaccinated, while allowing illegal immigrants in without even being tested for COVID. It makes no sense. "Employers in my district have serious concerns about keeping workers on their payrolls under these federal mandates. This only makes matter worse in the midst of ongoing labor shortages. With every move, the president is making our competitiveness and economy worse—and American families suffer the consequences."
