Balderson Urges Trump to Protect AK Steel, the last Remaining Electrical Steel Producer in U.S.

WASHINGTON – Congressmen Troy Balderson (R-OH) and Mike Kelly (R-PA) today sent a letter to President Trump urging him to correct an oversight that allows foreign electrical steel makers to circumvent certain tariffs, undercutting American makers of electrical steel and putting American manufacturing at risk. Currently, AK Steel, which has a plant in Zanesville, is the last remaining producer of electrical steel in the United States. ### |
